When is the best time to have landscaping done to my lawn?

For most residential properties a Tuesday to Thursday rule would be idea. Grass doesn't grow exponentially over the weekend until the spring. For corporate, either a Monday or Thursday would probably be best. And this isn't to say we can't accommodate other days, but this is the general recommendation. And that's only for general maintenance. Otherwise aesthetic jobs can be done at any time.

What are the steps to improving my yard?

After the initial phone call, the first steps are a trip on site to your property, where we listen to you and what you want to do. We'll guide you through the process of picking and choosing what plants and projects you want installed, and help you with whichever details you think are important. This stage has everything to do with you and your budget. We'll have a client questionnaire of sorts to find out all the input you have when it comes to yards/gardens, and compare it to your favorites. Then we analyze the site and find out what works best for the property (i.e. shade/sun/wind patterns and their effect on the plants). Next we're on to concept design, and if you approve, plan and development afterwards. Then it comes to the planting plan. The real physical changes and planting occur and then? Just sit back and relax in your brand new, custom made garden or lawn.

What can I do to help maintain my new property?

You can start visually. Checking all the plants and bulbs for damage goes a long way in the long run. Deadheading, pruning, and trimming are also simple things that can be done for the benefit of your garden plants and flowers.
